Order Confirmation
You will receive an order confirmation by email shortly after placing your order. Please check all details. If any error is found please contact us ASAP.  

All orders are sent via US Post Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Overnight shipping via UPS may be available for an additional fee, please make an all-caps COMMENT to us on your order if you'd like a UPS Next Day Air shipping quote.

Delivery time
Beginning Oct. 1, 2019—We aim to ship all orders within 5 working days, typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays. US Priority Mail offers 1-3 day shipment times across the US. Media mail (cheaper) takes 2-8 days of shipment time. We ship from Portland, OR.

Exchange & return policy
In the rare case our product doesn't meet your expectation, it’s possible to return within seven (7) days of receiving the shipment.

Please note:

  • The item must be returned in its original condition and shipment packaging.
  • The shipping costs of the return/exchange are fully at your expense.
  • The item is your responsibility until received at Ointment Co. Returning via a shipping method with a tracking number and insurance for your package is advised.
  • The refund will be for the purchased items only, not for the initial shipping fees.
  • Please email us ointmentco@gmail.com to let us know to keep an eye out for your return.  

Refund timing: Purchase—excluding shipping costs—will be paid back within 30 days.

Additional product information

The Ointment Co. Planner is bound using Smyth-sewn techniques with an open spine. This means the spine of the diary is visible and not broken.

This industrial technique–also know as Swiss binding–makes the diary fall open flat, and therefore is friendlier to use. Also it shows the beauty of the craftsmanship of the binding technique. Because of the handmade nature of the process, slight variants will occur and are a point of uniqueness.

It cannot be guaranteed that colors viewed on the website will be true to life to your eye, due to the uncontrollable variations of color settings across devices and individual's perceptions of color.

If your item is damaged or has some other defect upon receipt—we care! Please carefully check your item once it has arrived. In the event of damage please notify us within two (2) days of receiving the package. Please photograph the damage and email us (ointmentco@gmail.com) to begin a resolution.
